Event Details

The security duties and specific security requirements detailed within the Telecommunications Security Act (TSA) and the associated regulation are now in force, and Telecommunications providers and suppliers alike either need to directly or indirectly show where they are complying and how they are addressing gaps in compliance.

This regime is very different from previous compliance frameworks within the industry, and delivering compliance will likely require a different governance approach to ensure an efficient outcome.

This webinar will deliver in plain English:

  • How the duties and requirements affect directly impacted providers and their supply chain (i.e. equipment suppliers and providers operating within the supply chain)
  • How the approach of the CoP delivers compliance with the duties and security requirements
  • How HSCN compliance and the TSA complement each other
  • Five myths surrounding TSA
  • Five tips on how to deliver an effective programme to show compliance

Des Ward is the Information Director of Innopsis and has almost 30 years of experience within the security industry.  Des has been heavily involved within the more recent Telecommunications compliance frameworks, being a co-author of CAS(T), a key contributor to the HSCN Compliance Operating Model and leading the security workstreams that Innopsis are engaged within.
